Bring-In Warranty

    For warranty claims, you select the shipping carrier and arrange return shipment of your device. You cover the shipping costs for sending the defective device to us.

    Ensure that it is securely packaged, and take out adequate shipping insurance. For more information, see our FAQs: Return Shipping

    We repair your device or replace it entirely if repair isn’t possible. Repairs typically take 2 to 3 working days.

    Following repair, we ship your repaired device back to you free of charge.  

Pick-Up & Return Warranty

    For warranty claims, we handle return transport of your device to our premises, including adequate shipping insurance and other shipping costs incurred. Our service team discusses the best processes for your specific device directly with you.

On-Site Service (Switzerland Only)

    A technician repairs your device directly on site whenever possible. You do not need to send in your device, and you can continue using it right up until repair and immediately after.

    If identical replacement components aren’t available, we may install equivalent available components in consultation with you.

    Important: On-site service is only available in Switzerland.

Warranty Conditions

    The warranty applies to all systems built by Joule Performance, including all installed components.

    The warranty covers hardware defects that occur during the warranty period due to material flaws, manufacturing errors, or assembly issues that significantly impair PC performance.

    Depending on the defect, the warranty covers free repair, replacement of defective components, and replacement of the entire device if repair isn’t possible.

    For warranty claims, we cover all costs incurred for service work, spare parts, and return shipping of the functional device after repair.

Warranty Exclusions

    The following are excluded from the warranty:

    1. Damage due to improper handling of the device, including: Damage due to installing, removing, or modifying components, and damage due to inadequate protection during transport or shipping by the customer.
    2. Damage due to failure to observe safety instructions, such as damage due to liquids, electric shock, or foreign objects in the device.
    3. Damage caused by the customer themselves due to changes to BIOS/UEFI settings or component overclocking.
    4. Software bugs (operating system issues, driver problems, programs installed by the customer themselves)

Warranty Duration

    We provide minimum 2 years’, maximum 3 years’ warranty on all PCs available in our shop. Check the warranty information directly on the product page under “Technical Details”.  

    The warranty period begins the day your system is delivered to you (i.e. typically on the package delivery date).

    Warranty for Standard Systems:

    • Gaming PCs: 2-year Bring-In warranty
    • High-end PCs: 3-year Bring-In warranty

    Warranties for Configured Systems:

    • You can select the warranty type and duration yourself in the configurator. Your selected warranty duration and type applies.
    • You will find the warranty duration and type on your configuration invoice.

Warranty Extension

    For configurable systems, you can extend the warranty period for a fee (maximum 3 years). You will find all the warranty options available under “Service” in the configurator.  

    Important: It is not possible to extend the warranty after purchase.

Warranty for Upgrades

    Upgrade Service:

    We offer a professional upgrade service for all our systems. When we upgrade your PC with new components, we provide 12 months’ warranty on all newly installed components.

    Self-Upgrade:

    You can upgrade small components in your PC yourself without losing the warranty on the overall system. Please note: We do not provide a warranty for components that you install yourself, or for damage caused by improper installation.

    When replacing core components , that significantly change the configuration, you lose the warranty on the entire system. That’s exactly what the upgrade service is for (see above) :-)

    Small components: SSD, HDD, RAM, PCIe expansion cards (sound, Wi-Fi)

    X Core components: Motherboard, processor, graphics card, power supply unit, CPU cooler, case

Reporting Warranty Claims

    Don’t worry – ask the professionals! Contact our Support Team with any PC problems. You can reach us conveniently by email, over the phone, using our chat feature, or with our contact form.

    Please always include the following information to help us assist you quickly:

    • Serial number (on the back of your system)
    • Order number (if you ordered directly from our shop)
    • Detailed error description, including photos of visible damage or screenshots of error messages if possible.
