The Joule Workstation AXXIV AN150232 is based on AMD's Threadripper PRO 5000 WX series.

For the Threadripper PRO, AMD has modified their EPYC server processor series for  workstation use. The Threadripper PRO CPUs can boast many cores, but have a massively faster Turbo Boost than the EPIC processors. At the same time, the Threadripper PROs support a large number of PCI Express lanes and memory channels.
